Project Overview

Thanks for your interest in my services. After reviewing your progress in Figma and the intended scope of the project, I created this proposal to formally offer my design services.

As a user experience (UX) designer, all of my design work is centered around providing an optimal user experience for individuals that come in contact with my work, whether that’s website or application design, graphics, or any digital design elements.

Good design and functionality plays a pivotal role in guiding users through their digital journey. I will utilize brand identity assets and content that you will provide to create an app that captures your vision, as well as, serve as a hub to keep your targeted audience engaged and informed about Novo Integrative Wellness and its mission.

Project Goals

This proposal outlines the design and development of a HIPAA-aware client wellness application intended to support individuals undergoing neurofeedback therapy.

The application will serve as a centralized hub where clients can:

  • Track symptoms over time

  • Log neurofeedback sessions

  • Use customizable wellness trackers that support their neurofeedback journey

  • Communicate securely with their clinician for encouragement and guidance

The goals of this project is to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that is functional, secure, scalable, and designed for future expansion.

Project Targets

  • Improve client engagement and adherence to neurofeedback treatment

  • Provide clinicians with visibility into client progress

  • Enable secure, supportive communication between clinicians and clients

  • Create a flexible tracking system adaptable to individual wellness needs

  • Lay the foundation for future features and integrations

Investment

Project Fee (MVP)

$25,000 - $30,000*

Total Estimated Hours: 190 - 295 hours

Quote includes cost-associated to create:

  • Mobile app or web based (iOS + Android)

  • Custom backend

  • HIPAA-aware architecture

  • MVP scope (not enterprise-level yet)

  • Product, Development, and User Interface

  • Ongoing communication throughout the project.

This app involves sensitive health data, custom tracking systems, and clinician communication. The cost reflects not just development, but secure architecture, scalability, and long-term maintainability for the client.

*Additional costs could arise due to third party services, such as App Store releases or general third-party costs. These items would be communicated in writing and approved before moving forward with the project.

Payment Structure:

Based on $25,000 (low-end) estimate.

  • 40% deposit to begin work - $10,000

  • 30% mid-project milestone - $7,500

  • 30% upon MVP delivery - $7,500

Included:

  • One primary platform (mobile or web-based app)

  • MVP-level feature set as defined above

  • Use of HIPAA-compatible tools and services

Assumptions & Exclusions

Not Included:

  • Legal HIPAA certification

  • Native wearable integrations

  • AI-driven insights

  • Ongoing maintenance beyond launch

  • App Store fees or third party-services costs.*

Post-launch support is available via a monthly retainer:

  • Bug fixes

  • Minor enhancements

  • Feature planning for future phases

  • Compatibility updates, monitoring

Estimated Retainer:

  • $185/hr with a two hour minimum

  • Up to 8 hours: $1500.00/month

  • Up to 14 hours: $2500.00/month

  • Unused hours do not roll over

  • Emergency Rush requests: same day changes; weekend-after hours work $275/hr.

Ongoing Support (Optional, separate agreement)

$2500.00 (One-time fee)

  • Account set-up on both platforms

  • Creating/Configuring listing

  • App metadata

  • App content, privacy forms, data and usage declarations

  • Upload and release configuration

  • TestFlight setup

  • Initial review submission

Once you're ready to move forward there are a few simple steps you will need to take: 

  1. Accept this proposal. Use the button below to email acceptance.

  2. Sign the agreement. Once you accept this proposal, a formal agreement will be generated and sent to you. The agreement will outline the scope of the project as mentioned above, payment terms, and responsibilities.

  3. Pay the invoice. Submit payment of the initial deposit to begin work. Once your acceptance and agreements are confirmed, you will receive email notification from me and a deposit invoice to retain my services over an eight to twelve week timeline. Payments should be certified checks. The invoice will include payment details and your official start date.

  4. Send requested info. I will send email requests for images, files, etc. needed to create necessary content, such as, official logos files and videos you would like to include.

Your projected Start Date will be Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
